Discover Sailing

A great way to get on the water for the first time, if your new to the sport there is no better way to start your sailing journey. During this 60 minute introduction, a qualified RYA instructor will take you through the basics in a fun and safe session.

Once you have completed your session you can continue your development through a range of RYA courses, which are offered here at Datchet Water Sailing Club, please speak to the Senior Instructor on site at the end of your session.

Boat, wetsuit, spray top and buoyancy aid hire are all included in the cost. You will need to bring a towel, shoes which can get wet, a swimming costume and dry change of clothes.

Duration: 60 minutes.
Time: Saturday afternoons. Please see calendar for current availability.
Pre-course requirements: No prior experience or knowledge is required.
Price: Price: £30 per person. Family £60 (3 Persons being, 2 Adults & a Child).
