Coronavirus Update

18th May 2020 – A message from the Club Commodore:

Dear Members,

I am delighted to give you good news. As of Thursday 21st May Datchet Water Sailing Club will open access to the boat park, limited club house facilities & the water to current members only who wish to sail, windsurf, radio sail or carry out boat maintenance.

Access to the site will now require a code for a combination lock on the gate and a valid membership card to exit the barrier. Membership cards are being sent to members over the next two days, with full details of the new protocols. The new protocols can also be viewed in the members area of the website.

Our priority is for the safety of members and staff and we appreciate your support during this time. Any member displaying or suffering from symptoms of Covid 19 should follow the government guidelines and self isolate and stay at home.

Thank you all for your continued support and I hope you can now enjoy some sailing.

Welcome to Datchet Water Sailing Club

Whatever your sailing style you’ll find a warm welcome and great sailing area at Datchet Water Sailing Club.

Our home, on the Queen Mother Reservoir has one of the longest runs across the water of any inland sailing area, and is easy to reach, almost on the junction of the M25 and M4.

We are a friendly crowd and anyone who wants to sail from beginners to experts is welcome.   Our members sail and race regularly with club support, training and

development to build confidence and skills.

As well as great sailing, there are lots of additional social events, open meetings and training opportunities, for all ages.
