Welcome from the Commodore
In 2026, Datchet Water Sailing Club reaches an important milestone — 50 years of sailing at Datchet Water.
Since the clubs founding, generations of sailors, volunteers, families, and friends have shaped what DWSC is today. From weekend racing and training to national and international success, the clubs strength has always come from its members.
This anniversary weekend is an opportunity to come together, not only to celebrate the present, but also to recognise the people and achievements that form our shared history. Whether you have been a member for decades or have joined more recently, you are part of that story.
I very much hope you will join us at the club over the weekend of 7th & 8th March to mark this special occasion and help celebrate 50 years of Datchet Water Sailing Club. Members attending during the anniversary weekend will have their names recorded, and a permanent commemorative scroll will be displayed at the club recognising those who helped celebrate our 50th year.
