DWSC Members Yacht Charter
Sailing on the Solent
The club is organising a day out big boat sailing on Thursday 10th September 2026.
We are chartering 3 Oceanis 37 from Fairview Sailing at Port Hamble.
We meet for a 9am boarding at Port Hamble and have a day on the Solent, returning for 5pm. Although not racing we will probably choose a course and destination for lunch, with the first one arriving getting a prize.
There will be opportunities to brush up your passage planning, MOB, radio usage, cooking in the galley and all the skills of big boat sailing.
The boats will be skippered by DWSC members with everyone having the opportunity to helm.
Life jackets are provided
Cost will be £ 200 pp for members. We expect the places (max 20) to go quickly.
