Datchet Jets - summer

New for this season, Jets is the group catering for both those who have completed their stage 3/4 and would like to get into racing as well as for those who enjoy doing a little bit of racing, enjoy spending time on the water but aren't quite ready to or would rather not make the step up to our re-structured 20 knot squad. The sessions will aim to combine fun while working towards developing a rounded knowledge of racing, developing skills already gained as well as learning new ones.

A coached race series will be held on the final session to allow the selection of sailors into the 20 knot squad for the next block if appropriate, however, this is not guaranteed.

Buoyancy aid, wetsuit and spray top hire is included if needed. Boat hire can be arranged at an extra cost by selecting the ticket which includes club boat hire for the relevant boat. If you need help deciding which boat will be appropriate for your sailor please do not hesitate to contact us.

This block consists of 5 sessions as the water is closed for the RYA Regional Junior Championships on the 18-19th June. We encourage all members of the Jets to enter the regatta fleet of this event as it is a great experience for some coached racing.
