Club racing is held year-round for dinghies, keelboats and catamarans including a youth-only start. Sunday mornings racing takes place year-round. Wednesday evening racing is added from April through to August (depending on daylight).

Sunday Morning Series
Sunday Morning racing is divided into four series throughout the year.
- Spring Series. Early April to mid-June
- Summer Series. Early July to early September
- Autumn Series. Early September to mid-December
- Winter Series. Early January to end of March.
The first start is not before 10:30 am with 2 races back to back. There are 3 starts for each race with the classes split into groups as defined in the table below. Courses are displayed on the committee boat, on the club noticeboard & in the Sunday Club Racing WhatsApp group.

These events form a special part of the club racing calendar. On these dates, multiple races will be held and prizes awarded.
Wednesday Evening Racing
The DWSC Wednesday Evening Series is traditionally one of the most popular racing series in the club. It is intended as an informal and fun event to encourage new people to race.
The Wednesday evening series is a single start for all classes at 7:30 pm. As a warm-up for the Wednesday evening series, there are 2 fun races which start at 7:00 pm in April and the series ends with a fun race at 7:00 pm in August.
Wednesday Afternoon Racing
The Wednesday afternoon series is a single start for all classes at 3 pm. The series starts on the 15th September to 3rd November 2021 and from 2nd February to the 3rd April 2022.
