 evel course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to driv
 e a powerboat. The course covers launching and recovery, boat handling,
  securing to a buoy, anchoring, leaving and coming alongside, man overb
 oard recovery, slow speed close-quarters manoeuvring, an introduction t
 o driving at planing speed and collision regulations.The powerboat leve
 l 2 certificate allows holders to apply for an International Certificat
 e of Competence (ICC), an especially useful certificate if you plan to 
 go boating abroad.The start powerboating handbook is included in the co
 urse price as is the certificate however this is not guaranteed unless 
 the course is successfully completed. Boat hire, wetsuits, spray tops &
  buoyancy aid hire is also included.Duration: two-daysPre-course requir
 ements: No prior experience is required, minimum age of 12.
