Windsurf - Foil - Wing

Datchet Water is a great location for windsurfing, wind foiling, wing foiling and stand-up paddleboarding. The reservoir is one of the largest in the area, almost two kilometres long and over a kilometre wide, providing an amazing open stretch of water to enjoy the wind while being overlooked by Windsor Castle.

Datchet has an active and growing group of windsurfers & wingfoilers. The group is really friendly and welcomes new members.

The club & water is open from Wednesday to Sunday, weather permitting. Whenever the water is open, patrol boat cover is provided.

Foiling May Madness at Datchet Water Sailing Club

A month of celebration for foiling.

We start the month with a 3 day Bank Holiday weekend WASZP event. 

Throughout the month there will be special WASZP demo days run by SailingFast.

We will have special taster sessions for Wing foiling during the month, dates available here.

We will have fun racing for Wing foiling on Saturday and Sunday afternoons for the more experienced wingers.

The South Coast ladies group will come to help us start a Datchet "She Flies" group.

We will also have a Bring and Buy sale and clothing from Barracuda Bay. 

OTC will complement our month of activities with a special weekend event on the 8th-9th June. 

All this for £95 for the month of May or £30 for a one off session.

Rigging area & storage facilities

There is a large AstroTurf area on the beach which is perfect for rigging and matting into the water for easy access. Kit storage pods are available next to the beach.
