The FF AGM will be on Sunday 3rd December after racing, upstairs in the Committee Room. Top of the agenda will be the appointment of a new Fleet Captain. Please let me know if you want to stand or propose anybody – and any other agenda items.
Congratulations to Ralph and Sophie for their 3rd place overall in the RS800 Inland Championships at Grafham Water last weekend. They were the only boat to beat current 49er world champion Dylan Fletcher when they won the last race. To learn more, read the report on Yachts & Yachting website

Just a reminder that your club has the privilege of hosting the RYA London and South East Zone Championships this weekend and with an excess of 150 competitors it will be a busy weekend.
If you have a couple of hours to spare please come up and support your club hosting this event, this is also a great opportunity to attract new members.
Club racing will be taking place in the afternoon probably starting at 2:00pm and will be the standard club format of two back to back races.

Thanks to all competitors for the support you have given to all 18 youth sailors during the championships. Congratulations to all who took part and especially those who managed to sail all four races. You should be very proud of your achievement.

This weekend we have the K1/FF/Wayfarer open meeting. If any members can help with launching or recovery either day that would be brilliant. Club racing is as normal on Sunday.
Wednesday nights (13th September)5 continue with the Commodore hosting an informal evening where members get to know each other and have time to eat and socialise. Please bring filling for jacket potatoes and any dessert of your choice. Starts at 7pm.
Barts Bash and the club championships are on the 17th September. Don’t forget to register.
