Datchet Winter Warm-Up 2010
The 2010 edition of the famous Datchet Winter Warm-Up Open Series is scheduled for the four Sundays of February - 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th. Two back to back races are planned for each Sunday morning with the first start at 1025. 6 out of the 8 races will count to the prizes. There will be a competitors briefing at 9:45 on Sunday 7th.
Six starts are currently planned for Lasers, Flying Fifteens, Fast Handicap, Asymmetric Handicap, Catamarans and the Junior/Youth fleet. Full Triangle/Sausage or Windward/Leeward courses will be sailed as requested by the individual starts. We are expecting large fleets of Lasers, Flying Fifteens, Wayfarers, Contenders, RS 500’s, RS 800’s, RS 200’s, 49ers, RS 700’s and Catamarans.

Entry fees for non-members, which include boat parking for the month, are in the Notice of Race. Why not enquire about Winter Membership of the club which includes this event and club sailing/racing from October to March (£150 for a single-handed boat, £260 for a double-handed boat and £115 for a windsurfer).

Flying Fifteen Sailors who wish to combine their entry with the Mercedes Trophy and Winter Championships please use this version of the form. RS 500 Sailors have the opportunity to combine the series with two training events as described here.
