Windsurfing @ Datchet Water

Few windsurf spots offer the convenience of Datchet Water for clean wind and friendly atmosphere. With an area of almost 500 acres and runs of up to a mile long there are many options for “Plug and Play” on a sunny summer evening or some intense sailing on a weekend.

To windsurf at Datchet Water you can either day sail for a small fee of £10 during the week or £15 at weekends or take out membership with us for £210 for the year. Patrol boat cover is provided during opening hours and the club is looking to get windsurf lockers for members kit in the next year. Our onsite partner Datchet Watersports offers a full range of windsurf tuition with RYA Instructors and Platimum Kit Hire. Please go to their website or see the links to the left for more details.

We are also looking to run a number of events in the for windsurfing this year including a seavets open meeting and possibly a speed challenge day in October. We encourage windsurf members to get involved in the club and voice their opinions as to how the club should engage windsurfers and provide the best facilities.
