Welcome to Datchet Water Sailing Club, the Inland Sea near London. With our large water and excellent facilities we offer the best solutions for learning to sail in a fun and friendly environment with an excellent range of courses for all ages and abilities. Datchet Water Sailing Club is a fully accredited RYA Training Centre with Multihull, Dinghy and Powerboating Courses for people of all ages along with activity and corporate days for a wide range of different organisations.
Using a team of RYA qualified and experienced instructors and the wide range of boats we have available we offer much of the RYA syllabus as well as less formal racing courses for adults (Adult Race Training) and Juniors (20kt Squad)
How to book?
Simply go to the section on the right and go to the required section. For Junior Courses, Adult Learn to Sail, Powerboat Courses and Instructor Courses you can pay online after the booking, over the phone or send us a cheque to Datchet Water Sailing Club. For 20kt Squad and Adult Race Training you can pay by phone or on the day of the training.
What time is my Course?
All junior holiday camps run from 9.30 till 4.30. Sailors don’t need to be changed before the beginning of the course. For all weekend courses AM sessions run from 10am to 1pm with PM sessions running 2pm to 5pm. With the exception of 20kt Squad and Adult Race Training you don’t need to be changed before the start. For Instructor Courses you will be contacted with the start and finish times.
What do I need to bring?
For all sailing courses you need to bring a swimming costume, towel and a pair of shoes that can get wet. For Powerboat Courses you just need to bring a pair of shoes that can get wet. If you have your own wetsuit please feel free to bring it along although if it is a colder day we may insist on wearing a full wetsuit.

Boat Hire
We have a large range of dinghies and cats for hire at DWSC as can be seen on our CLUB BOAT page. This can be booked by any member of DWSC by calling the club on 01753 683872
