| An invitation is extended to
individuals with their own boats or sailboards to come and enjoy a day's
sailing. Day sailing is possible Tuesday to Sunday and Mondays when a
Bank Holiday, commencing at 10:00 hrs Tuesday to Saturday and 11:30 hrs
on Sunday and continuing until half an hour before sunset or Safety Boat
cover is withdrawn.
Sailing takes place on 475 acres of water in the
shadow of Windsor Castle, near to Junction 5 of the M4 and Junction 14
of the M25 - more details of how to find us are here.
Please note racing takes place on Sundays with a
start sequence commencing at 10:20 hrs with a second race taking place
as soon as possible after the first race. Additionally there are
frequent Open meetings and club events on Saturdays, check the club
calendar for these events.

Conditions
for all categories
- Wear adequate personal buoyancy whilst afloat
which must, as a minimum, support 4.5 kilograms of weight and be
centred above the waist. (The following do
not constitute adequate personal buoyancy: Wetsuits, Drysuits or
Boardsailing harnesses.) If buoyancy is of the inflatable
type it shall at all times be inflated sufficiently to support the
wearer in the water.
Note - Datchet do not have personal buoyancy
equipment available for loan. Bring your own.
- Third party insurance cover to at least £1,000,000 must be
held.
- All sailors whilst on the water shall comply with following
From November 1st until April 30th,
or at any other time when Code Flag ‘Y’ is flown from
the Clubhouse Flagpole, the following minimum requirements are mandatory:
 | Board Sailors - a Winter ‘Steamer’ or Dry Suit with
appropriate thermal undergarments |
 | Dinghy/Multi-hull Sailors - a Full Wetsuit or Dry Suit
with appropriate thermal undergarments |
 | Keelboat Sailors - a Full Wetsuit or Dry Suit with
appropriate thermal undergarments. Polar Suits may be
substituted for Wet/Dry Suits. |
At all times persons sailing or Boardsailing shall wear
footwear of an approved pattern with non-slip soles.
