Fulham Prep School
Fulham Prep School is a member of DWSC and students have taken part in the fantastic sailing course that have taken place on Saturday afternoons. Following the completion on the summer term sailing programme and regatta, DWSC will start the autumn term sailing courses on the following dates:
Saturday 12th September for six weeks up to and including the 17th October.
For Stage 1, 2, 3 and 4 sailors, we have 24 courses spaces available and will run the sessions on Saturday afternoons 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
For Cadet sailors who have achieved their Stage 4 and wish to learn to race, we have 6 spaces available and will run on Saturday mornings 9:30am to 12:30pm.
The six-week course is £120 and is payable by the 1st September 2009. Late bookings will incur a £30 administrative charge. As places are limited, we advise all parents to book early. If you wish to book, please download the booking form using the “Forms” button on the left and return them to the Club with payment.
In order to achieve their RYA qualification, all children will need to attend at least five of the six sessions. If due to other commitments, children miss more than the one session, parents will have the opportunity to book a private two-hour session for £30 (this includes a 25% reduction for FPS) to make up any missed course elements.
The Club will provide all wet suits and buoyancy aids so all your child needs is a swim suit, towel, shoes that can get wet and a change of clothing. If the weather is sunny, please ensure a bottle water and sun cream is provided.
Children who have achieved their RYA Stage 2 should bring in their RYA Log Books.
