Boxing Day Bottle Race

Just a quick message to inform of you of the results of the 2003 Boxing Day Bottle Race. The 7 boats who took part enjoyed 'ideal' conditions wind wise of F4-5 and a reasonably balmy 10'C with the wind between S & SW.

The course was from the start line between the inner course orange (starboard end) near the Marriott and the committee boat on the port end

outer orange by Marriott to starboard

thru' start/finish line

left tower to starboard

outer orange by Marriott to starboard

thru' start/finish line

right tower to starboard (Windsor Castle corner)

outer orange by Marriott to starboard

thru start/finish line to finish

The highlight for the race team was the cat which managed to place the orange outer course mark between the hulls.
