Datchet Water Dinghy Fleet
Working alongside Topper International, Datchet Water SC has a large fleet of single-handed, double handed and multi-hull boats from the Topaz range. All Club boats can be hired by Club members on a two-hour basis by calling the office on 01753 683872 one week in advance on a first-come-first served basis.
Please note, Club boats will be reserved for training courses and the full fleet may not be available on certain days when courses are taking place.
Laser Standard and Radial
Available for all Club members to hire, the Club has two Lasers available for cruising and racing during the week. Standard and radial rigs are available and advanced booking is recommended due to the demand of the boat.

Topper Race Rig
Perfect for Racing - The Topper offers a phenomenal race and training scene. Friendly but competitive, the circuit is a fantastic place to be. Datchet Water SC are pleased to reserve the fleet of Toppers for our junior race members who are taking part in training courses.
Topaz Uno
The Topaz UNO is a simple and deeply rewarding single sailed fun-boat with great stability and ease of handling. Absolute beginners will be sailing single handed in a big breeze within a couple of hours. The ultra-spacious, uncluttered and comfortable cockpit and high boom immediately inspire confidence. The outstanding stability and non-threatening 5.6 square metre sail area provides the perfect introduction to sailing.

Topaz Taz
The Topaz Taz is an ideal learning platform for young sailors to progress their sailing skills. Easy to rig and launch, the Taz responds well in various wind strengths and can be used as for both cruising and training.

Topaz Magno
The Magno will appeal to all the family. She is user friendly from day one, the dynamic yet forgiving hull is married to an easily controlled rig that is perfect for less experienced sailors. Carrying a main sail, jib and asymmetric spinnaker, this boat is ideal for two people to get out sailing.

Topaz Xenon
The Xenon is an excellent high performance 2-man hiking boat perfect for getting your friend or partner into non-trapeze sailing or for club racing. The Xenon has been selected as the boat of choice for the prestigious Champion of Champions event in the Endeavour Trophy in 2005 and again this year in 2006.
Any Club members taking part in one of our training courses may well find themselves in the Club’s Xenon as it is an excellent teaching platform.

Topaz Vibe
Appealing to the younger sailor, the Topaz Vibe benefits from a high boom and spacious cockpit leaving it easy to handle for all abilities. Carrying an asymmetric spinnaker, the Vibe is used by the Club for advancing sailing and spinnaker techniques.
Young sailors taking part in Stage 3 and 4 courses will be able to experience the Vibe throughout their training courses.

Optimist
Available for younger sailors, we have six Optimist available for hire and training. With investment in new sails for the fleet, the Optimist are ideal for youth sailors wishing to get out onto the water and develop their skills.

All hired boats must be signed out at the office on arrival and returned at the end of the allocated booking time.
A deposit of £50 will be placed on all hired boats to cover any damages that occur due to miss-use.
