The IOM racing will start early on Sunday and will pause while we launch for club racing if they are racing near a ramp.
Please park your cars away from the ramps and IOM control areas and do not launch until you hear an announcement (we want to concentrate launching to minimise any disruption).
The IOM racing may also need to pause while we are retrieving boats – please listen for any announcements after racing.
Andrew and Tom Wilson won the Wayfarer Eastern Area Championship at Medway in July with an impressive 4 wins and 2 second places in 6 races. This put Andrew at the top of the Wayfarer National Circuit Series, sailing either his son Tom or with Sue Risbridger as crew

2 Datchet RS800’s travelled to Lyme Regis to enjoy some epic winds and waves for the latest round of the Magic Marine RS 800 Grand Prix series. Ralph and Sophie Singleton finished 3rd RS800 and also 3rd in the overall handicap fleet (dodgy handicap???). Dan Goodman and Debbie Clark scored a 4th in race 3, Debbie sailing the whole race with a black eye and streaming blood across her face from a messy capsize in race 2 (at least that was Dan’s story…).

Dear Club Members,
We will be postponing the start of Sunday morning racing until 2pm on Sunday 24th September. This is due to the RYA Zone Championships being held at the club.
For any questions, please feel free to give us a call.
We would like to get a full turnout for the flying fifteen open on the 9/10 September.
If you want help getting your boat set up and race ready we can help you prior to this event so you enjoy the sailing on the water. (Please let me know)
We will have a social event (group dinner) in Windsor for crew and family on the Saturday evening. We would also ask if you have room to accommodate people (on the Saturday evening ) please volunteer as it will increase the numbers and make the event more fun for us all
What are your next steps
If you have any questions please email or call me. Really looking forward to seeing you all at the open meeting.
Congratulations to Club Member Andrew Wilson and son Tom on winning the Wayfarer Eastern Area Championship at Medway.
