What’s on at the Club this Weekend?

Dear Members,

This weekend we have races 22 and 23 of the summer series.

The weather looks like there will be steady wind all weekend. It would be great to see as many sailors on the water as possible

Water Closed early on Friday night.

Due to staff illness the water needs to close by 6pm tonight.

Congratulations to our New Assistant Instructors!

We would like to congratulate Jack Winfield, Daniel Chattock and Josh Burdall for passing their Assistant Instructors course taken by our Senior Instructor Stuart. They all have worked very hard and we look forward to welcoming them on to our team of Instructors. Well done boys!

RYA Level 1 and 2

We are welcoming Gary to DWSC to teach an RYA Level 1 and 2 course this weekend. The wind looks perfect for learning and the sun will be out.

Sunday Afternoon Racing:

This weekend is the 7th and 8th Races of the Afternoon series. We are getting a good number of boats on the water and the weather looks perfect.

Looking ahead this week

Wednesday we will have our Evening Racing. A great turn out of competitors so far with great conditions. There are more great courses and racing to come.

Thursday is “This Girl Can” well worth getting your wives, daughters and girlfriends into sailing. The campaign at Datchet is extremely strong with over 15 new and experienced sailors. So come along on a Thursday night and develop your skills in an educational and friendly environment.

We hope to see you on the water.
